v1 — 2026-08-18 First release. Mistral Vibe Code in the terminal, with every key taken from Mistral's own command and shortcut reference. 29 keys across 5 folders: • Session — /clear, /compact, /resume, /rename, /status, /teleport, and the full rewind set: the /rewind picker plus Option+Up and Option+Down to step through messages • Control — Escape to interrupt, Shift+Tab to cycle between the default, plan, accept-edits, auto-approve and lean agents, Ctrl+O for tool output, Ctrl+G to edit the plan in your editor, scroll and copy • Model — /model, /thinking, /voice • Tools — /mcp, /loop, /debug, /reload, /config, /log Three documented shortcuts are deliberately absent: Ctrl+Shift+C, Ctrl+P and Ctrl+N do exactly what Ctrl+Y, Option+Up and Option+Down already do here, and a second key for the same action is a wasted key. Ctrl+C and Ctrl+D are left out too — both quit on an empty input. Note: Vibe runs inside a terminal emulator — Smart Profile auto-switch isn't applicable. Bind the profile manually via the Stream Deck app's App dropdown after install. Mistral recommends Ghostty, Kitty, WezTerm or iTerm2; some shortcuts do not survive tmux or SSH.
