Gemini CLI Stream Deck Profile

v5 — 2026-08-08 Syncs against the commands registered in the Gemini CLI source, which runs ahead of the published command reference. Adds /docs, /shells (background shells, alias /bashes), /tasks (background tasks view), /export-session, /setup-github and /terminal-setup. Every key now carries its own glyph: fourteen pairs shared one, each a hotkey and a slash command covering adjacent ground — Ctrl+D and /quit, Ctrl+R and /resume, F12 and /bug, and so on. Two separate keys were also both labelled 'External Editor'; they are now Open in Editor (Ctrl+G) and Editor Picker (/editor). Note: Gemini CLI runs inside a terminal emulator — Smart Profile auto-switch isn't applicable. Bind the profile manually via the Stream Deck app's App dropdown after install.

v4 — 2026-07-13 Syncs Gemini CLI v0.42 → v0.50 (July 2026). +12 slash commands, 60 → 72 shortcuts. High-value adds: • /resume — interactive session browser (v0.43); /chat is now its alias • /settings — in-app settings editor • /restore — restore project files to a prior checkpoint (v0.43) • /vim — toggle modal editing • /editor — pick external editor (Sublime/Emacs, v0.44) • /ide — manage IDE companion integration Completeness: /hooks, /permissions, /commands, /privacy, /upgrade, /policies. 35 slash commands total. Unchanged: all v3 keyboard shortcuts and the Help/Open Docs button keep their bindings. Existing customers: re-install the .streamDeckProfile to pick up the new slash buttons — earlier assignments are preserved.

v2.0 — Aligned with Gemini CLI v0.42 (May 2026). First public v2 — promotes the long-staged Slash category (18 commands) and adds 5 commands from the v0.24 → v0.42 changelog. 36 → 59 shortcuts, 5 → 6 categories. New in v2: • Slash category (Slash) — 23 commands total. The 18 ecosystem standards (/help, /quit, /about, /clear, /compress, /theme, /copy, /auth, /bug, /chat, /directory, /extensions, /init, /mcp, /memory, /model, /tools, /stats) finally ship to the marketplace. • Plan Mode (/plan) — default since CLI v0.34, now one tap away • Rewind (/rewind) — conversation history scrubber from v0.26 • Voice Mode (/voice) — real-time voice from v0.41 (cloud + local backends) • Agents (/agents) — skill management refresh from the v0.24 → v0.33 series • Skills (/skills) — install/reload/uninstall agent skills (v0.24+) Unchanged: the 36 v1 keyboard shortcuts (Control, App, Shell, Edit, Navigate) keep their bindings. Your earlier assignments are preserved.
