This profile's own key art, drawn by the same code that builds the files you install — and a starting point, not a fixed layout. Once it is imported, every key, folder and page is yours to move, rename, re-icon or delete in the Elgato Stream Deck app. What this page cannot be is the rest of the box: one theme of the ones it ships, two Stream Deck models of six, one platform's key combinations, and no dials.

V3 Sep 25, 2026 Latest version

v3.0 — 2026-09-25 Realigned on Zed 1.21.0, and now on Windows. Windows: a full Windows profile, every key taken from Zed's own Windows keymap. It is not the Linux one renamed — 35 keys differ, from Go Back (Alt-Left) to Save All, which on Windows is the chord Ctrl-K S. Go to Type Definition and Toggle Staged stay macOS-only, because Zed gives them no usable Windows key. New: Call Hierarchy (Cmd-K Cmd-H) — see who calls a function; press again for what it calls. All 99 bindings from v2 still hold in Zed 1.21.0. 102 shortcuts, 13 chords, and every binding verified against Zed's shipped keymaps for each platform. This release also replaces the listing text, which still described v1: 50 keys, including Zen Mode and message-history keys Zed no longer binds.

v2.0 — 2026-08-05 Realigned on Zed 1.13.2. The previous release tracked Zed 1.3.6 (May 2026), ten minor versions back. Fixed 12 keys Zed had moved or dropped: • Find References is Opt-Shift-F12 — Shift-F12 now goes to implementation • Go to Implementation is Shift-F12 — Cmd-F12 now goes to type definition • Git Panel is Ctrl-Shift-G • Split Right / Down are Cmd-K Right / Down — Cmd-K Cmd-Right only moves focus • Duplicate Line is Opt-Shift-Down; Move Line is Opt-Up / Opt-Down • Zen Mode and the assistant message-history keys are unbound in Zed — removed • Git Blame's chord now sends Cmd-Opt-G, not a bare Cmd-G New folders for surfaces Zed shipped since: Debug & Run (breakpoints, stepping, tasks, diagnostics) and the rebuilt Agent panel (thread search, thinking mode, fast mode, skills, agent diff). Git gains stage, commit, amend, push, pull, fetch, review diff and worktrees. 54 to 101 shortcuts, 11 chords, and every key now carries its own glyph. Bindings are verified action by action against Zed's shipped keymap.
