v1.1.0 — 2026-09-28 — Fix: the three media keys now do what they say. Play / Pause, Next Track and Previous Track are Stream Deck's own OS media actions, and v1.0 had their slots shuffled: Play / Pause skipped back a track, Next Track paused, Previous Track skipped forward. The slots are now the ones Elgato's own default profiles use. Smart Profile now points at Music's real path.

Nothing on this profile is invented: each binding is transcribed from the Music keyboard guide at support.apple.com/guide/music. Five rows on that page cannot be bound to a key at all — three are mouse gestures, one is a modifier held while the App opens, one is a prompt — and they are absent rather than approximated. Explore (6 keys) reaches what the keyboard cannot. Listen Now, Browse, Top Charts, Radio, Search and your Library have no keyboard shortcut in Music. These keys open them through Apple Music's own URL scheme instead, so they work whether or not the App has focus. Playback survives losing focus. Play/Pause, Next and Previous route through the OS media keys and fire while you are working in another App. Every keyboard Stream Deck is covered — Mini, Neo, Stream Deck and XL. The home page is five folders plus a pinned Play/Pause, which is six slots, so it fits the Mini's keypad exactly rather than descoping it. Folders: Playback, Library, Explore, View & Window, Help. Smart Profile switches the layout the moment Music.app takes focus. Three themes included: Dark, Plain and Brand.
