Yes, and they solve different problems. A profile is a layout: its keys fire keyboard shortcuts into whichever application is in focus. A plugin is software: its keys talk to a service and display what comes back on the key face itself. AI Agent Status is a plugin, so its keys show live values rather than sending keystrokes — which is why it works whether or not the app it reports on is even open.
How do I install the AI Agent Status plugin?
Buy it on the Elgato Marketplace and open the downloaded file; the Elgato Stream Deck software installs it and its actions appear in the actions list on the right, under AI Agent Status. Drag an action onto a key and fill in its settings. No separate installer and nothing to configure outside the Stream Deck app.
Which Stream Deck models does AI Agent Status work with?
All of them — Stream Deck Mini, Stream Deck Neo, Stream Deck MK.2, Stream Deck XL, Stream Deck +, Stream Deck + XL. Plugin actions are placed on keys one at a time rather than shipped as a fixed layout, so device size only decides how many you can show at once. Dial actions, where the plugin has them, need Stream Deck + or Stream Deck + XL.
